Hugo Chavez is visiting several leaders who have stood up to the United States in recent weeks. He went to see Syrian President President, Bashar al-Assad and Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He has bashed Israel calling it an imperialist country that annihilates people, which it does, and on Tuesday he attended Libya’s celebration of the 40th anniversary of the coup that brought Moammar Gadhafi to power before heading to Algeria. Chavez is drawing closer to Mid East leaders who defiantly stood up to Israel and the United States. He knows these are countries he can trust in. It’s the old proverb a enemy of my enemy is a friend of mine.
America has alienated many in Latin America with it’s past support of dictators who suppressed it’s own citizens to the benefit of the right wing and foreign interests. American companies have been the real enemies to poverty stricken people of Latin America and our government suppressed these people to serve the rich business interests in both countries. NATO air strike kills 90 Afghanistan civilians
The United States and its European allies have committed another atrocity that is sure to test the resolve of the Afghan people. An air strike on a hijacked oil tanker has killed a reported 90 people, although some locals claim the number of people killed were between 200 and 400. While some Taliban and foreign fighters were killed, most who perished were ordinary civilians. This country has committed several 9 / 11 attacks in Afghanistan since the invasion some eight years ago.
President Obama should be scrutinized for escalating more troops into this country. There will be nothing but more death and chaos such as this attack. This country just can’t seem to iso

The man who stood up against Ronald Reagan and the Bushes has passed away. America lost a strong leader against injustice in the Senate. Ted Kennedy was the strong proud liberal voice for years and his presence will be missed. he was the most respected and trusted person in that chamber. His fight for universal health care went on for years and the democrats will continue to push for good health care. There are those in the Senate who only expect the rich to have this care.
Ted Kennedy’s health has been going for some time. I often wonder how much the country missed from him not winning the presidential race in 1980. The country and the world would of been much better off than in our reality universal alternative nightmare. If this man had been president in 1980 instead of that Republican devil, many of the things we are still fighting for would of been ours now. Americans don’t realize how political ideologies can build a country. The liberal cause of people like Kennedy is an important issue facing many Americans. The Republican cause only benefits the few rich of this country who want to squeeze more blood from the working man to make them more wealthier. The wealthy Republicans who ruled feared and loathed Ted Kennedy. They hated everything this man brought forth because it was everything they were against. He fought for more regulation of the tobacco business. He helped pass the American with Disability Act and helped workers retain health insurance after they lost their jobs. This is a man who believed in governments responsibility to solve citizens problems. In the decades he served in the Senate, Mr Kennedy saw to it that government move towards that direction.
Yemen fighting sure to draw in United States
There has been fighting in Yemen for some years now and have been escalating. I wonder how long it is before Amerikkk gets involved in this conflict. We always want to influence the outcome of other nations internal conflicts. I wonder if President Obama will make another bonehead move and send troops to Yemen in support of the government against the Shia fighters. The five-year-old battle between Yemen’s Sunni-dominated government against the Shia Muslim Houthi fighters is one of a widening series of conflicts threatening to destabilise the country.
The United States is good at destabilizing other countries so if they get involved in this conflict they could help out Al Queda in their recruiting efforts in this poor country. Government troops Al Qaeda militants and secessionist discontent in the south, as well as the rebellion in the north bordering Saudi Arabia. This is a recipe for American involvement if the war goes bad for the Yemen government. They can just sit back and ask for our aid, money, and support just like the Shah of Iran did for many years. The whole Arabian peninsula will become another Iran soon as years of American harassment of Muslim countries will boil into full blown Arabian revolution against the rich powerful greedy kings of Saudi Arabia and neighboring kingdoms and governments. It will be interesting to see how the United States will react to the domino effect of the Middle East governments to powerful Islamic groups that will take over
Mexico drug wars intensify
The United States is pressure Mexico’s military to do more on the drug cartels. Viloence has increased in these pitch battles that threatens to spill across the border. No where have I read the main reason for the violence in Mexico is the inability of Americans to control their recreational drug habit. Wealthy people in this country want it all. The poor in Mexico have no real opportunities so you could see why they are drawn to the drug trade. Make no mistake there would not have been four thousand murders had it not been for the demand for this sick substance in this country. both governments have looked the other way for decades but they have now changed their tunes as they have seen the tremendous growth of these greedy cartels on both sides of the border. These cartels are even more dangerous and greedy has the governments of both countries and the reason is these cartels have become part of the upper class in the United States and Mexico.
Unlike many legitimate business these cartel companies have to use violence from avoiding forced mergers and bankruptcy. It should come to no surprise that there is a drug war going on in Mexico. There also has been a drug gang war going on in America’s urban centers. Its just typical that it took so long for these governments to now take these internal battles seriously, and I wonder now if it is too late to ever eradicate drugs and the violence it produces.

Republican right wing whackos question obama’s citizenship
President Obama is under attack by people called ‘birthers’ who think he is ineligible to be president. These are the same people who voted against him. They can’t take the fact that this man will be in the White house for three more years. They are trying anything to do to anything they can to smear this man because of their intense hatred for all the equality he represents in Modern America.
Newspapers from that time period announced Barack Obama’s birth . Helloo. can you birthers read or do you think those newspapers are lies too. Mere facts will never persuade these people who totally refuse to ever consider this man to be their president. They cannot fathom a black man in the White House and maybe after a few years they will come to accept it. Just like the black man is allowed to go to the University of Alabama, These people will come to fully recognize that Barack Obama is an American and is the nations first president. At least they can be pleased by how long it took this nation to allow a qualified black man to have a chance to be in the White House. These birthers need to go watch “birth of a nation” and yearn for those days which shall never return.
Nobody cares for the butchery of Tamils because they are not as good looking as the Iranians.
Not long ago the Sri lank an government troops launched an onslaught on the few remaining Tamil enclives. The butchery was ignored by the international community and did not receive the same attention the Iranian election protesters got from around the world. There were not many Tweets around Washington or protests around streets in the West. Tamils tend to be small and dark and the biases of people around the world are the main culprit for this suppression of the news of extreme Tamil casualties. Some estimates put it up to twenty thousand. Tamils in fact have received little attention from the print media over the years. Like I said it is because they are not as attractive as light skinned Iranians.
The bias based on race and looks at whose struggle gets more attention makes me ill. The Iranians are not more important than any group, but by the attention to their political protests you would think they are ancient Greeks or something. Where is the war to bring democracy to Tamil like our government was so supposedly interested in bringing to oil rich Iraq. Perhaps the Tamils do not have the fortune of being born over a large supply of fossil fuels to transport 220 pound Americans in 4500 pound vehicles. I will be interested in Iran when more are aware of the butchery of Tamil civilians by the Sri Lankan army.
Cambridge police typical of all American police forces
President Obama had a few beers with Harvard professor Henry Gates and the police officer who arrested. Nothing was accomplished except the fact that both men say they will now look forward and not back to this ugly incident. It is another ugly incident and chapter in America’s racial history. This officer assumed that a black man could not afford a house like that one in Cambridge. The woman who called the police felt the same way. It is typical of how Americans see their minorities. This incident with professor Gates and officer James Crowley reminds me of the movie Amos n Andrew. The parallels of this movie and this incident is eerily similar and I am surprised nobody as commented to this as far as I have seen on the net. Neighbors are not accustomed to see black people in their neighborhoods and whenever they see one their first thought is that man must be a criminal. Henry gates is a distinguished man and for him to be disrespected in his own home is a travesty. Police will treat all black people the same whether its a professor or a gangster.
Police officers may take racial profiling courses, but that does little when they are on the streets and confront people. Police are highly suspicious as that is part of their job. If officers in Cambridge, Massachusetts and elsewhere practice what the training manuals and classes try ti install about treating everybody equally these type of problems would never occur. The officer new that it was Mr Gates house yet he still arrested him because he got a little vocal most likely to the typical cocky cop attitude. Nobody wants to be disrespected in his own home, especially a man of high statue like Mr Gates. He took years of educational achievements to attain to his position and on this night he was treated like a criminal. I suppose officer Crowley never locked himself out of his home. There will be more stories of blatant racial profiling as long as there are pigs like officer Crowley in Cambridge.
Right wing gets trounced . Sonia Sotomayer confirmed
Republicans got trounced again as Sonia Sotomayor was easily confirmed to the Supreme Court. How they thought they could derail Obama’s pick is hilarious. The diversity he is bringing in everywhere has the Republicans unsettled. I really think they thought they had a chance to deny her an opportunity to sit on the court. In the end she will again climb the judicial system despite her hurdles as a wise Latina woman. People didn’t like that comment and sometimes the truth hurts. Latina women experiences are much more difficult and different in this American society. Newt Gingrichs and Rush Limbaughs have had it relatively easy compared to women from the south Bronx.
This remarkable woman will sit in the highest court of the nation hopefully for twenty five or more years. Each day she sits in it I hope it kills a little of the soul of these white males who fought so hard against President Obama and Sonia Sotomayor. It will kill them inside every time the see these two in the news and what they represent of change in the traditional power structure of Amerikkka. A mulatto and a Puerto Rican woman are in positions that would of been unheard of in the days of Archie Bunker and Richard Nixon. Some folks will never be able to handle change and will crawl into their Republican enclaves. One day the Supreme court will have minorities outnumber the once exclusive white male majority of everything. Change has indeed come to this country, though it did not come fast enough.
Sarah palin thinks Obama’s plan is evil
This whacko is out calling President Obama’s plan evil as it will harm the sick and elderly. She offers no basis for her assertions. She thinks Obama’s plan will be a death panel who will decide who gets coverage and who doesn’t. Republicans are just doing a pathetic scare tactic. She thinks government bureaucrats would decide who gets coverage and who doesn’t base on their worth in society. She thinks government will decide whose worthy of health care, but she ignores the fact that with to days system only the rich and wealthy get the best coverage. A government run health care will assure everyone gets treatment regardless of income.
It seems that the rich are unwilling to pay for any increase taxes or government expenditure to ensure every citizen gets health coverage. Every other industrial country ensures this basic human right. The rich in this country are selfish bastards who want to see those less fortunate just drop dead. This is the death panel that Sarah Palin supports along with the rest of the wicked right wing which is vehemently fighting this plan. She just makes stupid comments about euthanasia is just validation to the voters who saw through her stupidity and refused to vote for her ticket.
The United States and the world is shaking their head. it now appears that their government installed puppet regime in Somalia has only a few blocks left. Islamic freedom fighters are winning against U S and U N occupation with foreign Africans soldiers. two main Islamic insurgents united against the current government and Somalia will have to fight to install the government THEY want. The international community just does not want Islamic rule in this country. Iraqi insurgents should study and see what the Somalians are doing successfully. The Islamic rebels united to converge and attack the government territory to now that all the U S Somalia government is down to a few city streets. it is obvious by the success of the rebels that they have the backing of the majority of the Somalia people. The U N secretary can make all the announcements he want, but this war will not end until this current regime steps down and allows the rebels to win and bring peace to this nation.
Forty years ago the United states landed on the moon. They were looking for new lands and people to push around.I wonder sometimes if that was the purpose of the space missions. This country is always looking to spread its power and influence all over the world. maybe their were other worlds to go out there. America wants to show the world of Earth our technological superior and the race to the Moon against the Soviet Union was proof. This country would not let their rival beat them to it. America spent billions on these Moon escapes instead of poverty and social problems on Earth.
N ow conservative columnists are wired that we abandoned the space missions and space exploration. They would love to see more funding and waste of money to send more people to the Moon. These dreamers are all space cadets that don’t want to pay attention to life on Earth. They don’t want to worry or think about the problems in the world today. They want to escape these things on Earth and have it just go away. That is the problem with our past governments which spent all this money so twelve men can walk of the moon and describe how awful it smelled. patriots wanted to see the American flag raised on the Moon as it legitimizes our domination and claim to the Moon or something.
These Moon trips were a waste of resources,money,time, and fuel. There was nothing gained to the benefit of mankind from these trips to the Moon except for a superpower nation to feel more pride in itself. I hope that Flag is no longer standing and was blown off when the lunar probe blasted back to Earth. I want future generations not to know what a foolish country this was to make such broad attempts to go somewhere for no practical reasons
Taliban left to suicide attacks in Afghanistan
The Taliban cannot match NATO forces in a conventional war. This invasion force is more technological superior than any other foreign invading army in Afghanistan’s rich history of fighting invaders. warfare has changed so much since the Soviet Union tried to annex and take over this proud country in the same way the United States is trying to do. Back then the Russians also had to deal with a powerful superpower who was supplying the Afghans with weapons to fight. No country would dare to supply the Taliban to fight Amerikka. Looked at all the threats Iran received when they were supplying the Iraqi freedom fighters with weapons to fight. Iran has become more of a pariah isolated state do to the economic blackmail of the United States.
Afghanistan cannot match the brutality of the United States Army. They now are stuck with traditional terror tactics much like the Palastians were stuck with against Israeli occupation forces. There will continue to be roadside and suicide bombings in Afghanistan because they is the only way the people can defend themselves and fight back against wealthy invading countries. the economic power of the Western armies supplies their military with fighting machines in some cases where no manpower is even needed. How can the Taliban freedom fighters fight against unmanned flying drone UFO’s bombing from the night.
An official observation and study has concluded that elderly people are more likely to go to bingo halls and play. A group of psychologists the past two years have looked into the entertainment traditions of Senior citizens and learned that old people basically only go out to play bingo. While young people go out on weekends to movies,plays, nightclubs etc. The study was lead by a group of graduate students who spent months out in the field observing and following old people from nursing homes. Nobody has any reason why elderly people find bingo fun or what exactly draws them to these events. It is suggested the elderly can only focus on really slow and simple things and bingo is one of these things old peolple can do together in a large social group together.

I hate garage sales. This is another summer time tradition that just is plain ridiculous. How anyone can buy clothing that other people wear disgusts me. I have noticed it is usually women who make and attend these garage sales. I known women who give a garage sale, complain about making only fifty bucks, and then have another garage sale two weeks later. Garage sales are nothing but junk. Why people waste their time instead of buying new stuff for alittle more at target or Wal-mart baffles me. People always are seeking and expecting bargains when they shop. In fact, its is womens insatable appetite for shopping which probably causes these garage sales to occur in the first place.
U S soldiers death toll moves pass 5000
Five thousand American deaths have now been registered since are illegal invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. This toll is now about 2000 more than the 9/11 tragedies and now osama Bin Laden can claim five thousand more lives. We have been in Iraq for years yet there are still bombings and killings on a daily basis. Things will not clear up until we get all U S forces out of the country. The number of casualties are increasing in Afghanistan as these people realize America is building up its forces for a permanent occupation. What this country is doing over there and other parts of the world is no different than two hundred years ago when Kentuckians invaded Indian country in present day Ohio.
This country wants permanent bases all over the world so they will have military advantages when this country starts trouble with governments we don’t like. It is in t=our history and other countries are aware of this. Latin America has been the first part of the World to feel this foreign policy. We were eager to acquire Alaska for the same purposes back when nobody thought that land would be worth anything. the people in the Middle east need to continue the fight against American occupiers. This five thousand number total will continue to go up thanks to president Obama’s insistence to continue these disastrous wars for all three of our nations. it will take a United stand from citizens at both parts of the world to help make our government see this is not a good idea to stay there.
University of Illinois gives rich kids special consideration University of Illinois is a public funded State University that is one of the hardest schools to get into in Illinois. It has private school prestige and many High school students are denied enrollment due to the high demand. The Chicago Tribune did a focus and found out that students who received special considerations at the University overwhelmingly came from affluent high schools. Students from just twenty schools compromised half of the special consideration enrollment category. Most schools did not have a single student in the controversial University of Illinois clout list that was only exposed just this year. Is it any surprise. Rich folks send their students to these select prep private schools for a reason. A select few public schools from very rich towns also seem to posses this magic wand to get unqualified kids enrolled into this disgusting bias flagship prestigious University. The Chicago Public schools graduate 19000 high school seniors a year, yet they only had 25 students on the clout list to get special consideration for U of I admission in the past five years. The rich enforce and try to buy a guarantee for their kids to succeed when their academic grades don’t. This is exactly why there is a problem in this country. The rich want preferences for their own and do not want to share power with people not born into wealth no matter how much they earned things. This school is a disgrace to tax payers and all public money should be taken away so it can become a small elitist school the wealthy want it to become just like their kids filthy private schools that bloat grades based on family’s donations.
United States and Pakistan attack together.
The convergence of pakistan and American interests in the South Waziristan region clearly shows the two sides have an alliance going to fight pakistan militants loyal to the pakistan Taliban. Unmanned U S drone aircraft have been bombing all over pakistan and now it appears the Pakistani government has given them a green light. Unfortunely, many of these unmanned aircraft are killing only innocent villagers. Both sides continue to court the local tribes to join the fight and mauybe the act of unmanned bombings is meant to intimidate some of these villages to join the pakistan governments side. Once again why we are involved with an pakistani internal divisions is amazing to me. How many wars does Uncle Sam want to have. Hopw many more innocent villages will Amerikkk want to bomb. Both the United States and pakistan never publicly acknolledge these illegal immoral aircraft strikes. Some reports declared 80 people were killed attending a funeral. Does this war have any sancuary. What kind of a military and country attacks a funeral. Conservaties and Geroge W Bush must be smiling somewhere.

Islamic Terrorists are not happy these days. They got China now to add to countries they have a beef with as the Uighurs and other Muslims are being treated badly. In Pakistan, unmanned U S drone planes are killing innocent villagers. The Taliban are on the run in Afghanistan as the American forces are on the offensive. The only tool the Islamic terrorists seem to have is terrorism. When things get desperate the Islamic radicals can always count on terrorism.
I am surprised how quit they have been of late on this front. These are a people that brilliantly came up with the 9/11 attacks and other bombings around the world in the name of Allah. I keep expecting a major terrorist attack in the United States and keep thinking it will come when we least expect it. They must be planning or near one soon for if they don’t then their movement is over. I wonder if they are going to attack St Louis. i have not heard much along the way of security for this game. President Barack Obama will be there so i am sure they will have some. The president being there though makes this place even more of a target for Islamic terrorism. It may not happen at the game. The Muslims can attack any of the pregame events such as Cheryl crows concert under the arc or so forth. I don’t know maybe its a prediction, but i think Muslims are very pissed off right now. Something big will happen soon at a major event for when the radicals are weak and on the defensive, that’s when you can expect some major terrorist attack.

Uighur protests against discrimination turned ugly last week as protesters attacked Chinese people in the city of Urimqi. The Muslim minorities in China have been neglected and looked down upon for years by communist China. The Muslim world has seen their share of battles with empires and Non-Muslims and now you can add the Chinese empire to their list of enemies. China has expanded westward and expanded their borders in their own version of manifest destiny over the years. They have added many ethnic groups to China of which Tibet is the most famous. This weeks rioting was fueled by the migration of thousands of Han Chinese into the Uighur homeland and has increased tensions between the groups. The discrimination the Uighurs have felt were the principle causes of the Anti-Chinese rioting.
Anti-Chinese rioting is not unusual in Asia as many countries in the past century have had their own versions. Even Amerikkka has had Anti-Chinese rioting earlier in our nations history. Many Asians in other Asian countries have resented the economic power their Chinese minorities have had with their nations history. Urimqi has seen over a hundred and fifty deaths as days following the rioting Chinese Han groups went on the streets looking for Uighurs to settle the score. The Chinese military sent riot police in the area to break up these race riots. This is basically what this is and these riots are no different than East St Louis in 1917 or Detroit in 1967. Oppressed minority groups and racist dominant majorities have caused rioting in the past under similar conditions in the United States and around the world. Until the Uighurs are treated as human beings and given opportunities in their own homeland there will be more chaos in parts of China. China will never be willing to give up this mineral rich country
